SCOUT TROOPS
Give your scout group a unique art experience!
The Heckscher Museum of Art proudly offers programs for Girl and Boy Scout Troops across Nassau and Suffolk Counties. Troops are invited to visit the Museum or Museum Educators will bring the experience to you and visit your troop’s regular meeting site!
All programs include a guided tour of the exhibitions – or a presentation of imagery for programs at your meeting site – as well as a hands-on art project designed to reinforce key concepts. All art materials are provided.
At the Museum
- Wednesday through Friday
- 90 minutes
- Any time 2 – 5 pm*
- $175 per workshop
- Maximum of 25 scouts
*If your group is 12 or smaller, programs may begin in the Museum as late as 4:30 pm and continue in our Administrative Cottage classroom until 6 pm.
At your Troop Meeting
- Monday through Friday
- 90 minutes
- Any time 2 – 6 pm
- $200 per workshop
- Maximum of 25 scouts
