Nancy Richner

Nancy Richner retired as the Director of the Hofstra University Museum of Art, located on the Hofstra University campus. Prior to that role, she held positions at several art museums including Education Director at the Hofstra University Museum, Program Manager at the Nassau County Museum of Art, Roslyn, NY and Assistant Director of Education at the Museum of Modern Art, New York, NY. Ms. Richner earned her master’s degree in Museum Education from the George Washington University and an undergraduate degree from Northwestern University. She has been published in Museum News, Journal of Aesthetic Education, and the Journal of Museum Education and was recognized as Museum Educator of the Year for the northeast region by the National Art Educators’ Association.
