12 – 1 pm

The Members Virtual Lounge Series invites current Museum Members and Donors to join convivial conversations and educational talks with leading art experts. During this Virtual Lounge, Dr. Brown will discuss the work of a handful of contemporary artists featured in The Rains are Changing Fast: New Acquisitions in Context. These highlighted artists create remarkable artwork that addresses important issues of our time in visionary ways. A themed mocktail recipe (“The Contemporary Collector Cherry Cooler”) will be emailed upon registration, allowing participants to enjoy the lounge experience from their own home.

Meredith Brown, Ph.D., Consulting Curator of Contemporary Art, curated the exhibition The Rains are Changing Fast: New Acquisitions in Context along with Chief Curator Karli Wurzelbacher.
