12 – 5 pm

Celebrate Women’s History Month at The Heckscher Museum! Join us for a day celebrating women in the arts. Docents will be in the galleries highlighting works created by women artists throughout the day.

From 12 to 2 pm, young visitors are invited to create a special art project with Athena St. Juste. St. Juste is a creative art workshop facilitator and life coach who loves to use art to help kids express themselves and feel empowered!

Then, from 2 to 3 pm, enjoy a concert in the galleries featuring the acclaimed Flutissimo! Flute Quartet and Guest Pianist Aglaia Savalas Messina. Join the fearless foursome female flutists in a program celebrating Women’s History Month. Back for their 21st year of performances at the Heckscher, Claudia Beeby, Jennifer Haley, Leslie Strait, Jerene Weitman, and guest pianist Aglaia Savalas Messina promise to welcome you with an exciting mix of musical selections including several honoring women.
