Summer Community Dinners
Art + Community = Democracy
Join us for an evening of art, food, and community at the Heckscher Museum of Art this summer!
Inspired by the 250th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence and the Museum’s 100th Anniversary of Eclipse of the Sun by George Grosz, this community dinner brings people from all walks of life together around a shared table for an open and welcoming conversation on shared experiences, art, civic life, and freedom under the summer stars.
Each evening will feature cuisine from a different local restaurant, offering guests the opportunity to enjoy foods and flavors that reflect the many cultures and communities of Long Island.

Seating and meals will be available while supplies last, and the evening will be offered as a pay-what-you-wish experience. Whether you come with friends, family, or on your own, we warmly welcome you to pull up a chair, share a meal, and connect with others through art, conversation, and togetherness.
