Celebrate the opening weekend of Eclipse of the Sun Now with the Heckscher Museum at The Standard, East Village. The evening will bring together artists, cultural organizers, and community voices for a conversation about the Latinx artists featured in the exhibition and their connections to contemporary Hispanic and Latino/a artists using their work to speak about identity, immigration, politics, culture, and the issues affecting their communities today.
Heckscher Executive Director Heather Arnet will join members of Action Lab, Flower Shop Collective, and other guests to explore these connections through the work of artists past and present. Following the conversation, stay for drinks, music, and conversation!
