Long Island artists are invited to apply to the 2020 Emerging Artists Series at The Heckscher Museum of Art. The series gives established and up and coming artists the opportunity to share their work in the Museum galleries, participate in fast-paced presentations and increase their visibility with the local arts community.
Submissions are welcome in drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture and mixed media.
Only online applications will be accepted. Artists have until Tuesday, October 15, 2019 to apply. They will receive notification of their application status by October 29, 2019. All works displayed in the Museum must be a maximum of 30” W x 36” H.
Gallery talks will take place Thursdays from 7 to 8:30 pm on the following dates 2020 dates: February 13, April 30, June 11, September 10, and November 5. Go to Heckscher.org for guidelines and application.
