Friday, August 1: Big Black Food Truck
12 – 8 pm

After some time apart working in various industries, long-time restaurant co-workers, John Herbert & Anthony Torres reconnected in 2017 and decided to venture into the food truck business together. The Big Black Food Truck was born. For John & Anthony, food is a passion. Their art is creating a delicious and surprising dining experience that will overwhelm your every sense. While most food trucks specialize in one cuisine, their plan was to always provide a menu that gives customers a little bit of everything. Since 2017, they have established a strong customer base and created great relationships with the local community, schools and fellow businesses. The Big Black Food Truck pledges to always provide exceptional customer service and continue to improve their menu every year.

Friday, August 15: All American Wontons
12 – 8 pm

All Americans Wontons was founded by two best friends, Kerri and the narrator, in 2012, inspired by an idea that emerged from a trip to Atlantic City. Shortly after returning home, they gathered some wonton wrappers and began experimenting with their own fillings, incorporating favorite flavors such as buffalo chicken and bacon mac and cheese. They prepared a few care packages to share with friends and family, who loved them and encouraged them to expand their reach. After several months of testing and refining their menu, they started selling at farmers markets and rented a commercial kitchen, despite having limited experience. Eventually, the narrator took over the business full-time and was able to leave their day job when they had children. On August 1, 2020, they opened their first storefront, and in 2022, they launched a food truck.

Musician Laurie Anne Creus will be performing outside the Museum from 12 to 2 pm on September 6. Creus “moves with the melodic and lyrical vulnerability of ballads yet grooves with the driving beat of funk and R&B.”

*Please note that the Museum Palette Café will be open 12 to 5 pm, but the Museum building will be open 12 – 4 pm.
