The Heckscher Museum is happy to participate in this event presented by Town of Huntington Supervisor Ed Smyth, Councilwoman Theresa Mari, and the Children with Special Needs Committee in Heckscher Park. We are proud to be a part of this one-of-a-kind community event! Discover resources, activities, and services designed for individuals of all abilities. This event brings together local businesses, organizations, and professionals.
At the Heckscher Museum’s table, enjoy accessible hands-on activities in partnership with artist Joan Kim Suzuki and the Museum’s Accessibility Advisory Group, learn about the Museum’s Access Programs, and more. Explore the Heckscher Park Soundwalk which includes audio bites and tactile accessible signage in the park using the Free Bloomberg Connects app!Â

Please note that this event will take place in Heckscher Park. The Museum is closed on May 31 for exhibition change. We will re-open to the public on Saturday, June 7 at 12 pm.
