Enjoy art and music in your home and celebrate National Chamber Music Month with Serenade Duo! Join flutist Michelle LaPorte and guitarist Gerry Saulter on Friday, May 8 at 7 pm when they perform a recital inspired by works of art from the Museum’s Permanent Collection.
As five time Artists International Distinguished Chamber Music Award Recipients the Duo has performed concerts at Carnegie Hall and Merkin Concert Hall in New York City. Serenade Duo tours extensively throughout the United States, Europe, and Canada as performers, educators, and world chamber music advocates. The Duo was recently chosen as a Finalist for the 2019-2020 American Prize, Chamber Music Performance Professional Division.
The musicians are proud concert and recording artists for Centaur Records, Alhambra Guitars, Miyazawa Flutes, Royal Classic Strings, Celestine Flute Rexonator, and Fishman Music.
