2026 Heckscher Museum of Art Benefit Sparkles

The Heckscher Museum of Art’s 2026 Benefit Gala was held at the historic Oheka Castle in Huntington, the perfect setting for the “Cabaret Soiree” mood. The evening featured special honorees, moving musical performances, and generous museum friends and supporters.

Pictured above, the benefit honored The Stebbins Fund, Victoria Stebbins Greenleaf and Cynthia Stebbins; Anne Kraybill, CEO of Art Bridges Foundation; and philanthropists and art collectors Barton and Jane Shallat.

Benefit Co-chairs Elizabeth Halpern, Richard Cunniff, Jr., and Rozita Shay helped bring this year’s event to life, pictured below with Heather Arnet, Heckscher Museum Executive Director and CEO.

The Gala celebrated the current exhibition Eclipse of the Sun Now, which is centered around the centennial of George Grosz’s masterwork painting Eclipse of the Sun. The program included a silent auction of works by Grosz. All proceeds support the Museum’s exhibitions, collections, education programs, and community access initiatives.

Broadway performers Miranda Ferris Jones and Morgan Dudley performed, along with songwriter Mary Kate Morrisey, and sang excerpts from the musical “Edmonia,” which features the character of Emma Stebbins.

The Heckscher Museum sponsors and donors ensure that the Museum continues its mission of bringing art and inspiration to the community. To support the Museum’s mission, visit Heckscher.org/donate today. Enjoy photos from the special night.
