As one of the first people that visitors meet upon entering the museum, volunteers help set the tone of the entire museum experience. Enthusiasm, strong communication skills, and a passion for the arts are just a few of the valuable characteristics of an effective Guest Experience Volunteer.
Guest Experience Volunteers come from many different backgrounds and experiences. No specific degree is required. What is most important is having a love of art, enjoying speaking with others, and having a passion for making the Museum a safe and welcoming space for all.
