It’s hard to believe it’s been thirty years since we first launched our Long Island’s Best exhibition and education program! Shepherded and shaped by our visionary Director of Education, Joy Weiner, this program has reached thousands of Long Island’s youth and become a model in arts education. Through Long Island’s Best, hundreds of high school students visit our galleries each year to work with our trained educators and their school teachers to delve into the art on view, get inspired, think critically, and create a unique work of art. A beloved exhibition and professional development opportunity, we invite you to join Joy, alumni of Long Island’s Best, and our community for a stylish birthday bash celebrating this momentous milestone.
