Celebrate art and get outdoors this summer with H@H Kids Edition: Summer Break! The Museum’s Education Department is thrilled to announce this new summer version of its popular Heckscher at Home Kids Edition: Art Activity Series, which debuted in March and has aired 13 weekly episodes. Museum Educators will be putting a new spin on the series for the warmer summer months, taking art-making outdoors!Â
For many years, the Museum has been a summer destination for kids and families who love art. We are excited to provide this new virtual resource until we reopen our doors to the public.
Viewers will be invited to explore a variety of different techniques and art materials that are perfect for summer fun! Each week will feature a new and exciting project with one of the Museum’s professional educators. From painting to pressing flowers and leaf rubbings, everyone is sure to find a project that they will enjoy!
Videos will premiere on the Museum’s YouTube Channel on Saturdays at 10 am, July 11 through August 15.
