My Home, My Community Map Art
For kids entering grades 4 – 6
Home is where the heART is! Create a fun mixed media work of art that celebrates your home and community right here on Long Island. See how artists Risaburo Kimura and Madjeen Issac celebrate home and community in their artwork. Then, begin with a map of your hometown and add in all of your favorite places using a combination of drawing, collage, and sewing techniques!
