The Heckscher Museum of Art Announces New Additions to Board of Trustees

The Heckscher Museum of Art is pleased to announce the addition of new members to its Board of Trustees. The new appointments, representing Long Island business, and cultural professionals, continue to strengthen the Museum’s ties with the community. Trudy Calabrese is looking forward to serving on the Board of The Heckscher Museum, especially as it approaches its centennial year. She sees The Heckscher Museum as a stellar Long Island cultural and educational asset. Mrs. Calabrese recently retired as President of the Board of St. Johnland. In the past, she held the position of President of the Board of the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory Association, among others, and served on the Vestry of St. John’s Church, Cold Spring Harbor. She is a member of Three Harbors Garden Club. She resides in Lloyd Harbor with her husband Thomas. They have two grown daughters. Bruce Segal is a long time Huntington resident and considers Heckscher Museum and Heckscher Park his “front yard.” He has been a Pfizer, Inc., executive for 17 years, most recently as a key account executive. He is a member of the Pfizer Latino Colleague Resource Group. Mr. Segal coordinated the first annual Friends of Heckscher Museum event in 2017, which was well attended by the Museum’s Huntington neighbors.
