Día de los Muertos Family Celebration in Heckscher Park

Saturday, November 1, 2025 (Rain Date Sunday, Nov. 2)
12 – 5 pm

In collaboration with the Town of Huntington Hispanic Advisory Task Force, Latina Moms Connect, Inc., The Oaxaca Restaurant, The Seminary of the Immaculate Conception, Mac Bounce Party Rentals, and the Town of Huntington Institute of Human Services. 

Featured Artists: Kelynn Z. Alder, Manuel Alejandro Macarrulla, and Erwin List Sanchez

Families are invited to celebrate Día de los Muertos at this special event in Heckscher Park in collaboration with the Town of Huntington Hispanic Advisory Task Force and Latina Moms Connect, Inc.! Enjoy learning about this holiday and how it is celebrated around the world. Meet artists Kelynn Z. Alder, Manuel Alejandro Macarrulla, and Erwin List Sanchez* and create works of art inspired by the celebration. Bring your own photographs or other personal items to leave at our ofrenda, to honor and remember your loved ones. Activities throughout the day will include Mexican style calaveras, maraca decorating, maskmaking, flower crown making, and more. Stop by all of the outdoor stations to experience everything!

Art Circle Member & Donor Program
Private Tour of Central Park’s Bethesda Fountain
In collaboration with Central Park Conservancy

Thursday, November 6, 2025
2:45 – 5:30 pm

Art Circle Members & Donors are invited to attend an exclusive reception and guided tour of Central Park’s Bethesda Fountain led by experts from the Central Park Conservancy. This iconic monument by artist Emma Stebbins is featured as part of the Museum’s newest exhibition, Emma Stebbins: Carving Out History.

 We will meet at 2:45pm and walk together to the fountain for a tour from 3-3:30 pm and then will adjourn to the Central Park Boathouse for cocktails following.

Sculpture Sunday Pop-Up

Join us for a pop-up sculpture program one Sunday each month! Each playful and educational experience is a hands-on opportunity for young artists and visitors of all ages to explore the basics of sculpting. 

$5 per family. No registration required.

Art Explorers Club
for Ages 5 – 10

Saturday, November 15, 2025
9:30 – 10:30 am 

Kids will explore a variety of different art materials and techniques as they create open-ended projects and let their imaginations soar! Get creative and make new friends at this program designed specifically for ages five through 10.

$10 per family
Free for members
Registration recommended. Drop off optional for kids ages 6+
