Closing Weekend Celebration: Build a Miniature Monument, Sketch from sculptures, and Docents in the Galleries

Sunday, March 15, 2026
1 – 3 pm

Don’t miss your final opportunity to experience the groundbreaking exhibition Emma Stebbins: Carving Out History, which closes to the public on Sunday, March 15 at 5 pm. On March 15 from 1 to 3 pm, sculpt a mini monument honoring an important person in your life. Enjoy this drop-in hands-on art workshop with guest artist Samantha Dominik. Get inspired by Emma Stebbins’s portraits and use Crayola Model Magic and watercolor paint to create your own small sculpture. Write a plaque: “In 100 years, they will be remembered for…” to go along with your artwork. Drawing paper, pencils, and drawing boards will also be available for sketching. Docents will be in the galleries to answer questions about the exhibition Emma Stebbins: Carving Out History.
