Dix Hills Garden Club Designers Inspired by New Acquisition

For the celebratory weekend of the new exhibition, The Rains are Changing Fast: New Acquisitions in Context, the Museum was pleased to display a stunning floral design created by members of the Dix Hills Garden Club. Joan Enright and Nancy Binger’s floral arrangement, which was on view in the Museum from April 5 – 7, was inspired by Bruno Dunley’s artwork, The Landscape.

When describing what inspired them about the artwork, the designers wrote, “The work by Bruno Dunley, The Landscape, inspired us to think of Spring as nature’s amazing palette. Just as in the living environment, this artwork exudes vibrant colors, patterns, and textures.”
