Evan Waddy-Farr Honored by Project P.L.A.Y.  and St. John’s Camp

Evan Waddy-Farr, Heckscher Museum’s Director of Operations & Strategic Initiatives, will be an honoree at the upcoming Project P.L.A.Y. and St. John’s Camp Fundraiser. 

Since joining the Museum, Evan has worked closely with numerous Town of Huntington officials, task forces, and community members on a number of projects and public Museum events, including the Museum Palette Café, now a staple on the Museum Terrace, and Juneteenth celebrations. 

Evan is a non-profit professional with over two decades of experience in business, operations, project management, program and team development, and grant writing. Evan has a bachelor’s degree from Morehouse College in business management and leadership studies, and dual master’s degrees in teaching and special education from Relay School of Education.

Project P.L.A.Y. and St. John’s Camp, a part of the Huntington Human Services Institute Inc., has been serving children ages 4-12 for more than 40 years. The day camp provides much needed help for families that may not afford a paid program. Children enjoy arts and crafts, gardening basics, sports, special events and field trips, with transportation, breakfast, lunch and a snack also provided.  Learn more.
