Northport Harbor Sponsors and Above Receive Limited Edition Germano Giclee Print

Generous Celebrate Achievement Benefit sponsors at the $7,500 Northport Harbor level and above will receive a special gift with their donation this year – a signed, limited-edition giclée print of artist Thomas Germano’s painting, Dove-Torr Cottage, Centerport, L.I.

Germano, an exhibiting artist in the Long Island Biennial and professor of art, hails from East Norwich. He has created this artwork especially for the Benefit. The subject of the piece is the Museum’s historic Arthur Dove and Helen Torr Cottage, which is where the artists lived and worked on the banks of Titus Mill Pond in Centerport from 1938 onward. This year’s Celebrate Achievement Benefit on October 14 is inspired by the upcoming exhibition, Salt Life: Arthur Dove and Helen Torr, and will take place at Water’s Edge, located on the very same pond as the Dove/Torr Cottage.

Become a sponsor today at the $7,500 level or above to receive a signed, limited-edition giclée print. Questions? Contact Deborah at Johnson@Heckscher.org, Caitlynn at Schare@Heckscher.org, or call 631.380.3229. To learn more about artist Thomas Germano, visit his website at www.thomasgermano.com
