HUNTINGTON PUBLIC ART CRAWL
Artists & Activities in the Galleries

1 – 5 pm

Join us at the Heckscher Museum of Art during the annual Huntington PUBlic Art Crawl for a day filled with creativity and connection! Explore the exhibition Just Powers: Long Island Biennial 2026 and meet the artists behind the artwork between 1 and 5 pm. Exhibiting artists will be in the galleries to provide insight into their work and answer visitor questions. Artists Lauren Skelly Bailey, Benjamin Truong, and Wan Ling Fahrer will be in the galleries from 1 to 3 pm. Wan Ling Fahrer will be facilitating a drop-in portrait drawing activity for all ages inspired by her artwork New Beginnings. Artists Lori Horowitz and Diana Salomon will be in the galleries from 3 to 5 pm. Docents will also be in the galleries throughout the day. ART EXPLORERS CLUB: Fountain Fun!
for Ages 5 – 10

9:30 – 10:30 am 

Join us one Saturday each month for Art Explorers! Each workshop offers a new and exciting interactive gallery tour, hands-on art making, stories, and much more. Both English and Spanish speakers are welcome. Kids will explore a variety of different art materials and techniques as they create open-ended projects and let their imaginations soar. On May 30, each child will design their own imaginative fountain using a variety of materials!

$10 per child
Free for members
Registration recommended. Drop off optional for kids ages 6+
