The Museum’s Annual Superintendent’s Day Conference for K-12 art educators on November 4, welcomed 85 teachers from 17 school districts across Nassau and Suffolk counties. The creativity was flowing immediately.
Teachers toured the exhibition Emma Stebbins: Carving Our History and participated in a variety of art activities at both the Museum and in Old First Church. Special thanks to our fantastic guest artists Gabriela Gonzalez Dellosso and Lori Shorin who presented and led an amazing day filled with art.
