Four Garden Clubs brightened up the galleries recently during Art in Bloom, June 11 to 13. Visitors were thrilled to have the popular event back in the Museum as part of The Heckscher Museum Celebrates 100 exhibition.
The Garden Clubs were tasked with using artwork from the exhibition as their inspiration. The results were 12 beautiful, one-of-a-kind floral arrangements.
Art in Bloom participating Garden Clubs were the North Country Garden Club (Oyster Bay), North Suffolk Garden Club (Stony Brook), South Side Garden Club (Bay Shore), and Three Harbors Garden Club (Cold Spring Harbor).
